HOURS LEFT: My Favorite Travel Clothes EVER are now On Sale

A hard part of traveling as frequently as we do is deciding what clothes to wear, how to wash them, and what clothes match up. Because sometimes we land from trip A and the next day head out on trip B, having travel options that are no-fuss no-muss is essential.

A couple of years ago, we were introduced to the Bluffworks brand of clothing. It was marketed as a versatile wardrobe that was anti odor, anti wrinkle, and machine washable. At first it sounded too good to be true, but the more that we used the clothing, the more we found that we couldn’t live without it. Now, every single trip we take, we don’t travel without our Bluffs.

From now until the end of the month, the Pre Black Friday/Black Friday Sale is going on, with almost everything 20-30% off.

Formal and Semi Formal

The first set of bluffs that we ordered was the Gramercy Blazer and Meridian Shirts. The blazer and pants are, yup you guessed it, machine washable. For a travel suit, to be able to just come home, throw it in the washing machine, and call it a day… that’s remarkable.

I was recently on a business trip and had an important investor meeting. My Gotham Grey Gramercy did the trick.

Pants

The Bluffworks Pants are available in three styles: Gramercy, Chino, and Original. I’m a fan of the “original” myself, and Ben likes the Chino.

Casual Looks

For me, the casual looks are where Bluffworks really excels. It’s not easy to get a polo and a t-shirt that have the distinct ability to both be used while you’re out hiking or having fun, and at the same time, you’re able to slip a blazer over top and to immediately to the semi formal look.

T-Shirts

The Threshold tees come in solid colors that can easily go with anything in your wardrobe. We own one of each color and find that no matter where we are, the threshold shirts work. They’ve even got a long sleeve variety for the colder climates.

Personal confession time – I sweat a lot when I’m out hiking (don’t we all?). I don’t know how, but the shirts do NOT stink afterwards! They’ve got anti-odor properties, and they’re easy to wear two days in a row, even three if you wanna stretch it out. The anti-wicking properties wick the sweat away and if they do get funky, a quick rinse in the sink should get it done.

As you can see – they’re great for hiking. Here’s Ben in both his Threshold shirt and chinos…

Piton Polo

The Polo shirts (Piton) give a little more formality while still looking fabulous. I think hands down, the polos are Ben’s favorite (even more than mine, the tees).

Here we are out exploring the Cliffs of Dover, and Ben’s rocking his Piton.

Jeans

We’ve also got a pair of the Departure Jeans for us both. The greatest part about the jeans is their flexibility and storage. They’ve got a little stretch to them and 10 total pockets, including 3 anti-theft, concealed pockets.

Women’s Line

FINALLY! There’s a women’s line of Bluffs as well. Now, I don’t have any first hand experience with them, but from what I can see and the ladies I’ve talked to, they’re fantastic! Take a look at the women’s line here.

The Sale

You know I love a sale, and I love a sale even more when it’s on clothing that we can’t live without.

The clothes come with a 30 day money back guarantee, so if you buy it and you don’t like it (which I can guarantee won’t happen) you can return them. Don’t fit? Need a new size? You can exchange them for free too!

Most of the women’s line is 20% off and a lot of the men’s line is 30% off. The suits can be had for a deal too. Take a look at the deals and do let us know if you manage to snag your Bluffs.

  2. I will have to check out the Bluffs. I have been buying from Travelsmith which has similar clothes and always have something on sale.

  3. The travel clothing you suggest is only for men. As a woman who travels often, may I suggest Anatomie? While not inexpensive, it can be both casual and professional and it packs easily, does not wrinkle and washes and dries easily.

    • Hi Susan. Bluffworks launched their women’s line a couple months ago. It has all of the same features that are expected of their brand like hidden pockets, wrinkle resistant and machine washable too. You should probably check it out.
