Quick Lounge Visit, Galleries Lounge, London Heathrow

We only had about a 90 minute layover total, so we had to make a quick connection in Heathrow. If you’ve ever visited Heathrow, you’ll know that “quick” and “connection” aren’t two words you usually hear about Heathrow.

The Galleries Lounge in the B section of Terminal 5 is located right near the B42 gate by going up an escalator. It’s open, like most oneworld lounges, to business and first passengers, and Sapphire/Emerald one world members.

After a quick checkin, she informed us “we had better eat fast, as our flight was boarding in 10 minutes.” Well, with that said, we figured we’d snap some quick pictures for you, since ya know, being British, they do things on time!

There was a small cold beverages section

The business center was pretty large for a small lounge, and I liked that along the wall they provided noise cancelling headphones for your use if you wanted to listen to your laptops or personal devices.

If you had some more time, you could book a treatment at the Elemis Spa at the Galleries Lounge

The liquor selection was quite complete, with free pour available, for those long days ☺

For what it was, a quick visit to the Galleries Lounge is all we needed to recharge ourselves before the next flight out to Athens. It’s not as big as the other lounges, especially the one just after checkin in terminal 5, but what more do ya need on a quick layover!

Now, off to Athens.
