LIVE: Singapore Airlines awards now on Alaska Airlines website!

Alaska Taketh away, and Alaska Giveth. In a week where we lost American Airlines as a partner, Singapore Airlines awards and their charts are now available for booking on Alaska’s website! And the best part? FIRST CLASS IS THERE TOO!

Singapore Airlines Partnership

There are a few different regions that they travel to, but Asia is obviously the large one. Singapore Airlines has often been a hard award to pin down, but now we’ve got a little more action! Here’s some sample charts:

You can head to Southeast Asia, North Asia, Middle East, India, Africa, South Pacific, and Europe. One exception of note is that you can not travel from the US to Europe, so the Manchester-Houston route and the Frankfurt to JFK route are no-go’s in this new model

Play around with some dates, you’ll find that the availability is pretty good. I expect this to change, however, now that the awards are bookable online.

So, where ya heading with this new partner?

  1. Thanks for the heads up. I checked New York-Singapore in first class for the next year and came up empty. Running a quick check for business, the same. More options are better than fewer, but where are you seeing good availability?

    • At first glance it seems that they’re saving their Suites products for Singapore clients. WITH THAT SAID, I do see some random SIN-PEK availability on the A380 in First.

  2. I was hoping for Australia options, but looks like no go.

    Pretty steep mileage in general

    • It is, for sure. But there will be times when it makes sense. LAX-NRT is only 80k. LAX-SIN is 100k. I’m a buyer at that price, give it a go!
