Get 15% off an Aeromexico Flight with Visa Checkout!

I’m all for airlines trying new ways to drive business and using technology to do so. So when I got an email this morning from Aeromexico partnering with Visa Checkout, it caught my attention. They’re offering 15% off a flight and 1,000 Puntos Premier (their airlinemiles) just for registering.

What is Visa Checkout?

Visa Checkout it’s Visa’s quick and easy way to make payments online. Just save your information (name, address, and card number) and with one simple click you’re registered! Apologies that the instructions are in Spanish (we are on Aeromexico’s website after all). Choose Visa Checkout from the payment options, start up the session, confirm payment, and you’re done!

How is Aeromexico’s Product?

Well, I suppose that depends! Aeromexico offers a variety of aircraft on their routes. Some of their longhaul routes have the new Dreamliner 787’s offering a superior onboard experience and some of their planes are the dated 777 models, which are in bad need of a refresh.

Also, their 737 domestic fleet is perfectly fine, especially for a short flight.

We had the chance on a recent trip to Argentina to fly both the 777 in business class (think angled lie flat and a 2/3/2 configuration in the cabin) to the 787 (2/2/2 and fully flat bed seating). The food on both flights was perfectly fine, and it was a comfortable enough way to get down to South America and back!

Credit to Delta Skymiles

Being that Aeromexico is a SkyTeam member, it’s one of the best ways to earn Delta Skymiles. They’ll credit almost fully at 100% unless you’re buying a deeply discount ticket, and their business class fares credit as much as 40% towards your Qualifying Dollars for status.

So, where are you going with your 15% discount coupon?
