Earn Alaska Airlines miles with ReachNow
I love it when airlines look for new ways to reward their members on the ground and help them earn miles. Alaska Airlines has partnered with the car share company ReachNow to grant precious Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles for each rental.
What is ReachNow
I suppose we should start with a quick rundown of ReachNow. If you’re not familiar, it’s a car share service that uses BWM and Mini vehicles and is a fairly typical model. Much like Zipcar, Car 2 Go, and more, it’s a pay by minute service (or hour, or day, etc). They’re currently servicing Seattle, Portland, and (soon) New York. You can also pick up and drop off the cars at parking garages near the airport for extra ease of access.
What are the rewards?
By simply linking your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account number to your ReachNow account, you can earn miles for each reservation that you take.
- 50 Alaska Mileage Planâ„¢ miles for Trips over 10 minutes
- 100 Alaska Mileage Planâ„¢ miles for all trips that start or end at the airport
- 250 Alaska Mileage Planâ„¢ miles for trips over 24 hours
- 500 Alaska Mileage Planâ„¢ miles for trips over three days
Once you enter your first and last name, email, and Alaska number, the process is complete. They’ll verify your information and you’re on your way.
ReachNow is a service that I routinely use here in Seattle, especially considering I don’t have a car. Sometimes it makes sense to get the car, run some errands, and then head to the airport. While 100 miles isn’t life changing, it’s better than zero miles for the same ride. It makes it especially easier considering I don’t have to do anything after I’ve linked the accounts together.
For those interested in earning even more bonus miles, I have my favorite Chase card linked to my ReachNow account. Earning 3x the points on all things travel is how we rack up so many points so fast. As always, we appreciate you using our links to help keep this blog going.
In order to link your accounts, just follow the link here. Voila! You’re done!
Do you use ReachNow? Have you ever taken them to the airport instead of driving or using Uber? Let us know!
