Target Gift Cards are 10% off Today Only!
Because we all love a good deal, I felt this would be important to share as early as possible today. As part of Target’s HoliDeals, today ONLY, December 9th, all Target Gift cards are 10% off! There are a few purchase limitations (quantities, etc) but we’ll go over them all here. Again, Target gift cards are 10% off. Set your sights on savings!
The Fine Print
If you want to take a look at the fine print, head here. It has all the info on the gift cards themselves. Here’s the gist:
- Any gift card you buy today can be redeemed starting tomorrow at 10am central.
- The limit is $300 per household
- Only one transaction is allowed on target.com (that’s online, not in-store…)
- Purchases of Target GiftCards that exceed certain transaction limits may be voided.
That last part is the important one, y’all. Last year, I know a lot of you out there headed to your local target and bought way more than the $300 with your same credit card. Target realized that, and cancelled all but the first card.
Don’t be that guy… follow the rules, and we all win!
How to Purchase?
Here is Target’s gift card page, you’ll see that the $300 is already loaded up as a discount on the website. Enjoy!
This will stack nicely with the 20% off coupon that you might have got during the Black Friday weekend promotion, assuming you still have those.
How to get 37% off
Last year when this promotion came out, we went on the Target pilgrimage today and then the next day ordered a bunch of stuff online. We stacked the 10% we saved here with a 20% savings from the coupon. We also stacked our Freedom Card and Discover card bonuses as they were both earning a 5% cash back on all purchases. Lastly, we used a shopping portal like TopCashBack to earn an additional 2% back on our purchase All in all, a 37% discount on target purchases was a huge win.
Bullseye!
