Final Day: Get $15 & Free Delivery From DoorDash

Chances are, you’ve been spending the majority of your time at home these days. However, that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on all of life’s little joys. One of our favorite ways to still enjoy life’s comforts without leaving home is getting delivery from local restaurants. While there are countless food delivery options, one of our favorites is DoorDash. Thanks to their “Summer of DashPass” promotion, DoorDash is making it even easier to do your part and stay in.

What is DashPass?

DashPass is a subscription service that gives you free delivery from eligible restaurants. The service typically comes with a monthly fee of $9.99. If you order delivery two or three times a month, you’ll easily make up for the cost. To make things even better though, DoorDash is currently offering a free 30-day trial of DashPass.

If you don’t have a DoorDash account, you’ll need to sign-up for one first. Once you’ve done that, you should see a banner near the top of your app mentioning the Summer of DashPass. Click the link and you’ll be prompted to start a free trial of DashPass. If you cant get the banner to show up, you should also be able to locate DashPass through your account settings. You’ll see an option to “Get $0 delivery fees with DashPass”. You can also do this online, but I prefer using the app for its simplicity.

If you don’t think the $9.99/month is worth it, you can cancel at anytime. Just make sure to cancel before the 30 days are up or you’ll get charged automatically for the next month!

How to Get $15 Free

DoorDash is currently running a promotion called the “Summer of DashPass”. As part of this, DoorDash is offering DashPass holders special discounts with a different discount each week. This week’s promotion is offering $15 off at local restaurants with no minimum spend.

To take advantage of the $15 free promotion, choose a restaurant from the “Local Favorites” section. Enter the code “Summer of DashPass” at checkout and you should see the $15 discount appear.

It wouldn’t be the “Summer of DashPass” if it only lasted one week, now would it? Thankfully, there are some exciting promotions coming up in the next several weeks as well. These include:

Final Thoughts

DoorDash’s “Summer of DashPass” is already an intriguing promotion on its own. When you add in the the ability to try DashPass for free, it’s a no-brainer. I know we’ll be taking advantage of this tonight. Hopefully you can too!
