CRAZY Sale: SkyTeam Business Class from $1,050

Yesterday we posted about an amazing deal from Germany to all points USA in business class, with sale fares coming in starting at $1100+.

Well, it looks like someone over at SkyTeam has jumped on the crazy train once again, because we’re seeing sale fares from $1,050 from Europe to the USA.

Specifically, Madrid to JFK is coming in at 950 Euros, or only $1,050 US.

The fare seems to be valid, once again, from the week before Thanksgiving until Mid April, with the return being anywhere from a month after that (around May 15th).

Just check out the price we found from the Delta website.

These are booking into Z class for the entire trip. If you’re crediting to Delta, expect to earn between 5000-11000 miles, and if you’re crediting to Alaska like we will, you can earn between 10,736-19,325 depending on your status.

You can choose the routes that you want, from Air France A380 (angle lie flat seats) to the Air Europa direct flight from Madrid to even KLM via Amsterdam and Delta.

Just like yesterday, I don’t know when these deals are going to be over.  We booked one yesterday, cancelled it, and then booked one of these. Remember that with Delta you have a 24 hour cancellation policy if you change your mind or find a better deal.  We also used our Delta SkyMiles Credit card to earn an additional 2 miles per dollar on our purchase.

This ticket doesn’t only have to be for people who live in Europe.  We are considering “nesting” this ticket in another ticket that we have to already purchased to Europe.  For example, we’re heading to Europe in March and then coming back in April.  We could buy this ticket in the middle of the trip and do a little Trans-Atlantic mileage run in the middle of our existing vacation!

Did you take advantage of yesterday or today’s deal?  Let us know below!

    • I’ll keep my eyes open. Tons of fares right now leaving Europe, so we’re doing a ‘nesting’ flight like I mentioned in the post. When I see a good deal, I’ll post it here. Subscribe or follow us on twitter to keep in the know!

  2. This seems to be a great deal, but when you receive the booking summary why does it invite you to upgrade to business class for an additional € 1274.50 each way?

    • That’s the “flex fare” or whatever they call it now. It is honest to goodness business class 🙂
