Business Class Deal: Boston to Portugal or Azores from $610 Roundtrip
With international travel extremely limited right now, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a great business class fare. Well, if you’ve been missing deals, I have some good news for you. TAP Portugal has some fantastic business class deals out of Boston starting at just over $600.
The Deal
TAP is currently offering round trip business class fares between Boston and the Azores or Lisbon for just over $600. While this deal is valid starting in September, there are significant EU travel restrictions on American citizens right now.
Flights between Boston and Ponta Delgada are non-stop on an Airbus A321-neo. While it’s not a widebody aircraft, don’t worry. These aircraft still feature lie-flat seats. At a quick 5 hours, that should be plenty comfortable for you. Most flights to Lisbon will include a connection in Ponta Delgada as well. If you prefer flying on a widebody, you can book flights on TAP’s A330-900neo for about $20 more.
How to Get Even More Bang For Your Buck
You can make this deal even more exciting by adding a stopover in Lisbon. TAP allows you to add free stopovers in Portugal for up to five days. Lisbon is an absolutely beautiful city with great cuisine, so I’d highly recommend adding on at least a few days there.
To add in a stopover, you’ll want to find the best dates that work for your schedule. Once you’ve found your dates, head on over to TAP’s website and book your flight including a stopover in Lisbon.
How To Book
We’ve made things easy for you and included some sample dates above. However, if those dates don’t work for you, you can play around with the dates on Google Flights. Once you find your desired dates, I’d recommend booking through TAP’s website. In the case your flight gets changed or canceled, having to deal with an OTA only complicates things. If you’re adding in a stopover, you’re better off doing that through TAP’s website as well.
Because these flights touch US soil, you can book and cancel within 24 hours for free. It’s a great way to lock in these fares while they’re still available. Then you can use the extra time to solidify your plans with friends or family.
A Disclaimer
I certainly wouldn’t recommend booking travel for anytime in the near future. It’s ultimately up to you to decide your risk tolerance for far-out bookings though. If you do decide to book these however, just know that it isn’t without added risk.
There’s risk involved in booking any flights right now. We don’t know what things will look like in a month, let alone 10 months from now. Heck, 10 months ago, air travel was at an all-time high and we couldn’t travel enough. How quickly things can change…
H/T to Luxury Flight Club for finding this deal.
