Business is an Adventure in Seattle
As part of their events welcoming the new Virgin Atlantic route between London Heathrow and Seattle, Richard Branson will join a group of Seattleites in the latest installment of Business is an Adventure.
The event, which will be live-streamed, will have Mimi Jung – from Seattle’s KING5 – as a moderator and will bring together Nadia Shouraboura, Founder and CEO of Hointer; Chase Jarvis, Founder and CEO of CreativeLive; and Jonathan Sposato, PicMonkey’s CEO and current Chairman of GeekWire. Along with Branson, they will discuss entrepreneurship in Seattle and the future of business in general.
In Richard Branson’s words: “Adventure doesn’t necessarily spring to mind when you think of business. It should. It’s a mistake to think of business as a business. Instead, think of it as something that makes a positive difference to people’s lives. Think of it as a wonderful adventure”. We couldn’t agree more, especially since we decided to move to Seattle and start our own adventure with No Mas Coach. We couldn’t think of a more fitting place to have as both home and launching pad to our worldly adventures than the Emerald City.
This is an invitation-only event, but you can enjoy it live by going to Virgin Atlantic’s Facebook Page, or you can hear all about it from us, who will be there to participate and interview the speakers. You can take part from home by tweeting @VirginAtlantic with your questions including #HelloSeattle and have them answered throughout the event. You can join us at 11am Seattle time on Tuesday March 28th for the one hour discussion.
This is the fourth in the Business is an Adventure series, with prior events occurring in LA, DC and Boston, all cities where Virgin Atlantic has routes to. If you’re more interested in these, you can head over to Virgin Atlantic’s website and read all about them there.
