Air New Zealand Valentine’s Day Sale, 25% off Premium Flights

If you’re feeling in an exceptionally giving mood this valentines day, how about taking that special someone to London, Australia, New Zealand, or the Cook Islands? Award seats are often hard to come by to the South Pacific, so finding a deal or a cash ticket is often the best way to go.

From February 12-14th, when you book two seats on Air New Zealand in either their Premium Economy Class or their Business Class cabin, you’ll score 25% off the cost of your flights.

Terms and Conditions

As with all sales, there are some pesky rules to follow. The most pesky, however, is that you must be departing from a gateway served by Air New Zealand. No connecting flights on Star Alliance partner United Airlines is allowed.

In theory this is the case. It would not work when I tried Seattle to London. When I tried to price from Seattle to Melbourne, however, it worked. Your Mileage May Vary, so try it out.

These fares book into J and Z class, so head to Where to Credit to find out how many miles you’ll earn

How to Book

Air New Zealand has a special landing page for the Valentine’s Day Sale, and it can be found here.  Head to the page, plug in your destination, and you’re good go to. The discounts code of VS25 will be automatically applied.

Remember, that it is your responsibility to get to the gateway city, so this might not be the best bet unless you live in or near one of the cities that they serve. As a reminder, they are:

  • Los Angeles
  • Chicago
  • San Francisco
  • Honolulu
  • Vancouver
  • Houston
  • Newark (in October)
