New Alaska Airlines Partner Condor to start Seattle to Munich route!
Living in Seattle, I love that we have dozens of long haul international flights. If we wanna cut out of town for a long weekend, we’re about a 9 hour flight away from a lot of the world. The new Alaska Airlines Partner Condor just announced that in June of this year they’ll be starting a new Seattle to Munich route!
The new nonstop flights from Seattle to Munich will operate on the following schedule
DE 2037 SEA-MUC 5:15 PM – 12:45 PM+1
DE 2036 MUC-SEA 1:10 PM – 3:15 PM
The flights will be operated by the Condor standard 767-300 with economy, premium economy, and business class products.
Product
They offer an angled lie flat product, which I don’t find too horrible. The 2-2-2 configuration also isn’t so bad, at least you’re not being shoved in a middle seat in business with a stranger.
Frequency
To start, the route will operate only on Wednesday and Saturdays throughout the schedule. Hopefully they will increase the frequency if they see some good return on the route.
Alaska Partnership
Now that Alaska Airlines has added Condor as a partner, it’s going to be really easy to get to Europe on a “low” cost carrier with a business class product.
Seattle to Munich is 5,283 miles, so in business class you’re earning 31,698 qualifying miles and with the MVP75k bonus, that number goes up to 44,905 redeemable miles. WOW!
I’m excited about this new partnership and the opportunity that it presents to earn some great miles and getting to Europe on the cheap.

You earn ~20K qualifying miles since the additional bonus is for RDM, not EQM.

Well, crap. You’re right. I got a little fat fingered there. Looks like you’re right it’ll be about 21,040 give or take a few miles 🙂 Thanks for catching that!
