Air France Salon Affaires, Terminal 2E

Air France has a lot of lounges in CDG airport as they operate out of many terminals, but the one that we used, the Salon Affaires, was located in Terminal 2E

Traveling as a Skyteam Elite member (Platinum Skymiles) member on an international ticket allows us to use the Air France lounge, no matter the class of service we’re flying in.

With that in mind, we passed the security checks and headed down the elevator to the lounge one floor below.

After a quick and friendly checkin, we headed right to the large seating area. This lounge has two sides (left and right) and they are identical in offerings. The side on the left has a second level as well, and I think this lounge could easily hold over 250-300 people with no problem.

At about 8 stations through the lounge the offerings were all the same. There are beverage coolers offering juice, beer, water, and soda…

Here’s the champagne on offer. I’m a fan of the Laurent-Perrier myself ☺

Our section has a quiet reading area with a book selection. Feel free to leave a book if you’ve got an extra one.

It also has a large work desk with seating for about 10.

The bathroom section was as wide as the entire lounge, with a place for toilets and showers.

Reading materials are available in many languages, catering to the international clientele that arrive at the lounge.

One the right hand side there’s a great view of the planes and the gate area. Here’s some shots of the second level area on that side.

My take on the lounge

This is the third or fourth time we’ve visited this lounge, and it never disappoints. I like that there is a wide selection of food and drinks, both hot and cold, which are welcomed after a long transcon flight. There’s a ton of seating so you won’t ever have to worry about where to go, and the shower facilities are huge. A lot of Air France lounges are members of the Priority Pass program, but not the ones in Paris. You’ll have to either be flying in business/first class on have SkyTeam Elite status in order to get in. If you’ve got a long layover and have access, don’t miss this one.
