New Air France / KLM Amex Offer for 20,000 Membership Rewards!
American Express “Amex Offers” are one of the best ways to save a ton of money above and beyond the card’s normal savings and help offset the annual fees. They change monthly, and sometimes even weekly, and you’ve got to keep your eyes on your account on the regular to see all the new offers pop up. A new one showed up in my account today which I plan on taking full advantage of. Spend $1,000 or more with Air France or KLM and get 20,000 Membership Rewards!
DETAILS
Get 20,000 additional Membership Rewards points one-time by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $1,000 in one or more eligible transactions direct with Air France or KLM by 10/31/2019. Flights must originate from US & charged in USD.
So, you’ve got to have your flights originating in the USA (no problem) and you can spend the $1,000 in either one or more than one transactions (also good). Sometimes the flights are charged individually so having it happen in multiple transactions is a huge win.
You just have to buy the ticket before October 31st, you don’t have to FLY by October 31st, so go ahead and get your tickets now.
For me, the offer appeared on my Amex Gold and my Amex Platinum, so double check all your cards to see if it pops up.
Bon Voyage!

Boo hoo – I don’t have it available on my Amex cards. I fly Delta (Sky Team) but not specifically AF or KLM. I have registered a complaint, don’t think it will get me anything. The benefit algorithm sends me offers on things I’ve never purchased but missed me on flying. :<(

Is this on top of the 5X for purchasing business class airfare using the Plat. business?

Absolutely – the Amex Offer does not interfere with any card bonuses. If you’ve got it on your platinum, hooray!
