The African and Middle Eastern Adventure of 2016 Begins!

Well, we’re finally back after 3 weeks in Africa and the Middle East, and still unbelievably jet lagged.  We crossed a dozen time zones, took 16 flights on 8 airlines, and stayed in a dozen hotels.

But, despite all the hectic running around of all that travel, we had some of the most amazing experiences of our life.  We trekked around the desert on camels, walked inside pyramids and ancient tombs, had tea at the highest restaurant in the world, saw a lion kill a buffalo, played with cheetahs and had them lick us back, drank local beer out of bowling ball sized urns, and swam 10 feet from the edge of one of the largest waterfalls in the world. And of course, in keeping with the blog, experienced some of the most amazing onboard first class airline products out there.
