Second Day of Giveaways! Cookies and Money!

Hey guys – once again we’re coming at you with a fun giveaway to celebrate our readers.

If you missed yesterday’s raffle, there is still time to enter. We’re giving away an Emirates first class amenity kit (choose your gender), so don’t dilly dally, as tomorrow is your last chance to win all the prizes.

When we were over in Europe earlier this year, we grabbed some fun airline branded memorabilia to raffle off, and trust me when I say you won’t find these anywhere else.

If you’re a soccer fan, and you love Real Madrid or FC Barcelona as much as we do, then you’ll love these tins. If you hate soccer, but love Qatar and/or Emirates, then you’ll love them all the same. We’ve got one that holds all our foreign currency, so we always know where that is. The other is a great place for us to store all the important paperwork (passports, visas, etc).

And the best part, it’s not just the tins! Inside are Real Madrid or FC Barcelona cookies shaped like soccer balls ๐Ÿ™‚

Sorry for the glare. There seems to be this notion that the giveaway products are going to be opened and used. So I made sure to keep the plastic on for you, so you know it’s sealed and good to go!

As a special ho-ho-ho, if we get to over 100 entries, the winning tin will also come with a $25 gift card ๐Ÿ™‚

You’ll get one entry for a comment that you make on this post about your favorite vacation memory, and for the next 24 hours, for any comments you make on any trip report we’ve done about your favorite vacation memories (hint, the list is here) you’ll get another entry.

Stay tuned, tomorrow’s giveaway is going to be the biggest ever, so don’t miss out!

  8. Read about your Alaska Airlines experience and agree that when you are in F there should be some type of expectation that food will be available. Even if it is just a sandwich, or the snack packs in the case of Alaska. How hard would it be to offer the few F passengers one of the boxes on flights that they don’t do meal service? This is common on AA and UAL also.

  16. My honeymoon 3 years ago was my fave. It was a two parter. My husbands idea of a vacation is to relax and do nothing I’m a go go go type person FOMO. After traveling for 6 years together we decided to split our honeymoon to accomadate both our needs and itwas the best thing ever for our relationship .We went to volunteer at a dog rescue at Koh Samui (very sad situation for dogs, gagged and depressed for the dogs while we scooped poop in the blazing sun) and then stayed at a ryokan in Kyoto. The staff did not speak English and pampered us beyond belief

  18. Favorite recent travel memory is playing soccer with my kids on the beaches in Valencia Spain last April. Just us running around on an open beach as the locals thought it was too cold. We are Pacific Northwest natives, the kids were thinking it was as good as a summer day barefoot and happy as can be.
