Amazon giving away free money on Prime Day!

As I was reading through my morning’s dose of posts, I ran across Frequent Miler’s post this morning about Prime Day and Amazon’s money grab.

Today only, when you buy an Amazon eGift Card for $50, Amazon will send you a $10 promotion code in your email in about two business days.

The catch?  You have only until August 27th to use the $10 promotional credit… but if we’re being honest, is it really going to take you 6 weeks to find something to spend $10 with on Amazon?

When you go to the checkout screen just before finally completing your purchase, you’ll be prompted to add in a promo code, which is GCPRIME16.
