Seattle Priority Pass Restaurant Closed After Two Weeks

Well – that sure didn’t last long. Seattle’s newest Priority Pass restaurant has already closed their Priority Pass affiliation just after a few weeks.

Floret, by Cafe Flora, was hailed as a great addition to the lounge selection in Seattle. There’s currently a Centurion Lounge (which is constantly overcrowded), the Club at SEA (which is far from everything), and the Delta Skyclub and United Club, both which require you to be flying on their planes to use.

Floret by Cafe Flora is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant located at the intersection of the A and B concourses. As we arrived the first time a few weeks back we were told that 1) The Cafe would not be accepting Priority Pass, only the restaurant and 2) Their card reader machine wasn’t working, so even the main restaurant wasn’t going to be accepting any passes.

Lovely.

As I arrived late into Seattle the other day I noticed these signs all over the restaurant:

a room with tables and chairs

Well, that sure was nice while it lasted.

I’m not sure why they stopped accepting Priority Pass as no one at the restaurant was taking as we passed through today. We asked if they would be accepting it again in the future and no one knew. We asked why it went down in the first place and no one knew. No one seems to know much of anything over there.

I’m sure not going to be spending any money there as there are plenty of places to eat for free in the airport, but it would have been nice to get some cash in their pockets.

Oops – and we’re closed

Here’s to hoping there are some new options that open up as Seattle is only growing in passenger traffic and having more options is always a good thing.

Did you get a chance to try Floret with Priority Pass? How was it?

  1. It was open for 7 weeks. Not 2 weeks. Please correct the headline.

  2. The food is great. It was open for a while though- more than a couple weeks and quit accepting over a month ago.

    • That’s so stupid. I wonder why? I mean they are still open but if I can’t eat there for free it might as well be closed.

    • Pretty sure I didn’t stop the restaurant from participating in Priority Pass. Not sure why you would say something so silly.

  4. Same “no priority pass” sign was up about 2 weeks ago – this despite tables sitting empty and no line. . .
