Flights from the east coast to Asia can be incredibly long. Depending on where you live, you’re usually looking at a 13+ hour flight with at least one connection. While we can’t make the flight any shorter for you, we can try to make that flight a little more comfortable. For just $1,680, you’ll be able to fly all the way from New York to Thailand in business class.

The Deals

Premium Flights, first discovered this deal from Air China, flying from New York to Phuket. However, we were also able to find widespread availability to Bangkok as well.

Google Flights wont show you the lowest price and ITA Matrix is showing the best dates at $1,932. However, if you search through Skyscanner, you should be able to get the price down to $1,680. For about $100 more, you can book this as an open jaw itinerary, with a flight into Phuket or Bankgok and out of the other.

  • New York to Phuket – $1,682

It’s also worth noting that some of these flights will feature angle-flat seats on Air China. If that’s a deal breaker for you, be sure to check the aircraft type before booking. If you’re not sure how to do that, here’s an easy way to narrow down your search.

The Dates

Wide open availability on ITA Matrix. You’ll be able to get these for under $1,700 through Skyscanner.

These flights are available from November until the end of the schedule. Availability is wide open in November with scattered dates in December and January. Availability is wide open again from February through the end of the schedule.

When is the best time to visit Thailand?

Like many things in life, it depends. Generally speaking, the best time to visit Phuket is November through April, as May through October is monsoon season. November and December are also the best times to visit Bangkok, as monsoon season is ending and avoids the oppressive heat and humidity of the spring.

Either way, you’ll be able to find plenty of things to do, but if you’re looking for beaches, aim for the winter months.

Final Thoughts

These flights book into the R fare class, so they won’t earn a ton of miles. However, getting over to South East Asia in business class for under $2,000 is still a great value. These deals may not last long, so act fast before they’re gone!
