25 Hurt on Flight from Moscow to Thailand

When a Russian airline Boeing 777 hit clear air turbulence near Bangkok, it left 25 people hospitalized. Flight SU270 was only 40 minutes away from the capital of Thailand when it came across the clear air turbulence, which is basically turbulence that can’t be detected by the weather radar. As there was no clear warning of the turbulence, passengers ended up being hurt. Thankfully, according to NBC news, the Russian Airline, Aeroflot, stated they would cover the medical costs of those who were injured on the SU270 flight.

And The Huffington Post surely doesn’t either as Suzy Strutner thoughtfully writes out the pros and cons of traveling with your fury friend. The statistics of pets who don’t make it to their destinations is also a tad alarming.
