Etihad Arrivals Lounge, Abu Dhabi

After a long flight into Abu Dhabi, one of the best things you can have is a visit to the Etihad Arrivals Lounge to clean up, relax, and have a quick nibble or drink before departing. As we know that we would have a bit of a wait for our car and for our hotel, we thought we’d have a quick stop in and see what they had to offer.

After collecting your bags and before heading to Customs, you’ll come across the Etihad Premium Arrivals Lounge.

Once we showed them our boarding passes, we were waved in with no problem. Pass down a little hallway and it opens up into a medium sized sitting area for about 30 people.

The décor is very smartly decorated and clean, unlike a lot of the clubs we’ve seen in the USA…

One of the best features of this lounge however is the “Shave by Etihad Airways” where you can get either a Classic Wet Shave or a Quick Beard Trim and Tidy.

Since we were the only ones in the lounge at the time, we actually had time for both!

The lounge is a nice place to relax and stretch your legs if you want a quick pick me up after a long flight, but if you just got off of a 8, 9, 10 hour flight, you’d probably had your fill of food and drinks. Since this is a premium lounge, everyone using it would be flying in First or Business class. I would say that it’s a better use of the lounge to get an amazing free shave from a great barber!

Has anyone been to the Etihad Arrivals Lounge and had a similar experience?
